Rental Information

Tarragon Theatre rents 2 performance venues (the Extra Space and the Mainspace) and 3 rehearsal spaces (the Studios). The rehearsal rooms are located in the Tarragon Studio. Click here for Studio rental information.

Tarragon Theatre will provide all of the following services with either Extra Space or Mainspace rentals:

• use of the theatre
• use of a full time coordinator
• lighting and sound equipment as detailed
• seating, floor and grid plans of the theatre
• one free consultation with our publicist
• one free consultation with our Production Manager or Technical Director
• one third off on Tarragon Studios for rehearsals
• exclusive use of two lockable, air conditioned dressing rooms; each equipped with a sink, toilet and shower
• a complete Front of House service including:
• box office management
• front of house management
• volunteer ushers
• tickets
• use of our credit card services for ticket purchases
• a weekly box office statement and revenue
• a box office telephone line
• we will accept reservations for your production from 4 weeks prior to the rental
• we will open our licensed concession during your pre-show and at your intermission

Extra Space

The Extra Space is an AIR CONDITIONED black box auditorium with a maximum seating capacity of 100. This space has moveable seating risers and a moveable control booth. The Stage location is not fixed.

Rates

Fall/Winter/Spring $2500.00 per week
Summer: $2000.00 per week

Please note: Tarragon does not rent the Mainspace or Extra Space theatres on a daily basis

CADD drawings of the Extra Space will be made available to renters upon consultation with the Production Manager or Technical Director.

Mainspace

The Mainspace is an AIR CONDITIONED auditorium with a maximum seating capacity of 205. The space has some moveable seating. Please consult with the Production Manager or the Technical Director if you intend to alter the normal theatre configuration.

Rates

Summer $4000.00 per week
