“I am retired now from two careers: advertising, then fundraising. Just want to say what a great job you are doing delivering a value-added, customer-focused service at Tarragon. Very professionally well done and appreciated.”

Your Night of Local Culture

Tarragon Tasting - sawdust city

On the last Friday of every month, Tarragon hosts a complimentary tasting in the lobby with a different local or international flavour — wine, beer, spirits, snacks, and other treats. This is an opportunity for audiences to share a drink, engage in conversation about our shows, and mingle with members of the cast & creative teams. So far this season we have welcomed Steam Whistle Brewery, Cameron’s Brewing Company, & Henderson Brewing Company. Upcoming dates for 2016/17:

Engage in Dialogue About the Work

Talkback - Wormwood

Talkback Week begins on the Tuesday after opening night. After every performance during that week (excluding the Saturday matinee), members of the cast & creative teams from our productions will join audiences for a discussion about the play.

Tarragon shows are full of big ideas. During the run of each show, Tarragon invites great minds to further our thinking on the show’s subject matter and artistic approaches through pre-show lectures. A full list of 2016/17 Lectures is available here. Past lectures can be viewed here.

Play Reading Wee k

Tarragon’s new Sunday Series invites audiences to consider the artistry of play creation, and discuss pressing issues relevant to the plays in our season through films, staged readings, panel discussions, and public forums. Sunday Series events take place prior to the matinee performance. A full list of 2016/17 Sunday Series events is available here.
