Jessica Moss is from Toronto. She is the creator/performer of two one-woman shows, Modern Love (2012 Next Stage Festival), and Polly Polly (Theatre Mischief at the 2013 Toronto Fringe Festival, where it was awarded Patron’s Pick, Best of Fringe, and the Ed Mirvish Award for Entrepreneurship). Her play Next to Him was shortlisted for the 2012 Tarragon RBC Emerging Playwrights’ Competition and came second for the Herman Voaden National Playwriting Contest in 2013. Her work has appeared at the Canadian Stage Festival of Ideas and Creation, Lab Cab, and is published in City Voices: A Collection of Toronto Artists, and EAT IT: A Literary Cookbook of Food, Sex, and Feminism. She is the artistic director of Theatre Mischief. As an actor, her credits include Tout Comme Elle (Necessary Angel/Luminato), Sucker (Theatre Brouhaha), The Clockmaker, Alice in Wonderland (Sudbury Theatre Centre), and Was Spring (Tarragon Theatre).  Jessica will be writing I Will Miss You When You’re Gone while in Tarragon’s Playwrights Unit.
