In Canada:  The Philanderer at the Shaw Festival.  In New York and elsewhere: co-wrote/directed An Iliad (Obie and Lortel awards), New York Theatre Workshop; directed  Hamlet in Bed (Rattlestick); King Liz (Second Stage); The Patron Saint of Sea Monsters, Playwrights Horizons; Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Major Barbara, Clybourne Park, Oedipus, Mrs Warren’s Profession, Guthrie Theater; Henry IV: Part 2, Othello, Oregon Shakespeare Festival; The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek, Slavs!, Traps, Light Shining in Buckinghamshire (Obie award), The Waves, New York Theatre Workshop.  Lisa has directed world premieres by Tony Kushner, Beth Henley, Caryl Churchill, Donald for theaters across the US including the Vineyard, the Public, Manhattan Theater Club, Berkeley Rep, Seattle Rep, Hartford Stage, Yale Rep, and Arena Stage. 10 years as resident director at Mark Taper Forum; 3 years as associate director for La Jolla Playhouse.  Currently writing: The Good Book and The Song of Rome with Denis O’Hare; The Idea of Order with Todd Almond.
