Tarragon hosts a variety of volunteers throughout each season and we try to match volunteers with positions that will be of interest to them. Students can fulfill a portion of their required community involvement hours by volunteering at Tarragon Theatre.
Front of house volunteers
Tarragon needs volunteers for each performance in both theatres. The volunteers
may take tickets, distribute programs or usher. In return, the volunteers
receive a complimentary ticket to attend that performance. To inquire
about volunteer shifts for performances, please contact the front of house

Project-based volunteers
From time to time Tarragon engages volunteers for specific projects or
events.
For events, volunteers may be called upon to check coats at our fundraising gala, supervise a silent auction or assist with the realization of a special function. In return, volunteers will receive a complimentary ticket to attend a performance or other benefits as appropriate to the event.
For special projects, volunteers with distinctive skills commit an extended block of time to a Tarragon venture (past examples include archiving the history of Tarragon's 10-minute plays; and acting as an artist liaison or venue technician for the Spring Arts Fair). In this capacity volunteers have the opportunity to work as self-directed individuals, while collaborating with Tarragon staff and gaining experience in a specific aspect of the theatre.
