Study Guides and Scripts

Study guides are produced at the theatre for most productions each season. These guides are offered as an additional resource to groups attending performances and include pre and post show lesson plans in addition to discussion topics, theme analysis and interviews with members of the production team.

Tarragon study guides are free of charge and are also ideal for those studying or mounting a play previously produced at Tarragon Theatre. [Tarragon is also pleased to make available I, Claudia in chapbook form including both the script and study guide.]

In an effort to put more Canadian and "new work" scripts in the classroom, Tarragon is offers FREE chapbooks of newly developed scripts at the request of the teacher. In the case of an already published script, any teacher who is bringing a student group to the theatre is welcome to purchase a copy from the theatre at cost.

Keeping the study guides online enables us to reduce our costs of printing and mailing as well as being more friendly to the environment.

All of our study guides are packaged in the Adobe PDF format. If you do not already have the FREE Adobe Acrobat reader, please click on the image below to download it from Adobe.
