WORDS WITH A ZED FESTIVAL

The WORDS WITH A ZED FESTIVAL celebrates the premiere of five different plays from young GTA playwrights. These writers have emerged from a highly collaborative process through the Scarborough Arts Playwright’s Hub and Tarragon Theatre’s Young Playwrights Unit. The festival showcases the work of Jenn Boulay (Fighting Silence), Sara Durante (The Fictional Reality of Lennox Tate), Sarah Hilton (The Waiting Room), Tyisha Murphy (Chance Encounters) and Ruby Urlocker (Sunset Constellations). Acting students from three high schools, two in Scarborough and one in Toronto, have taken on the exploration and performance of these plays.
