World Premiere
A co-production with Citadel Theatre (Edmonton, AB)
Martin wants to marry Brian, but is encountering resistance from Tom. Todd doesn’t really want to marry Tammy, but Tom is happy to oblige. From a chance meeting at City Hall, three couples are forever altered. A wicked satire exposes the hot-button issues of gay marriage, religious freedom, and liberal immigration policy.
Notes
Award-winning playwright-in-residence Michael Healey charmed us with Plan B, Rune Arlidge, Generous and the much-produced The Drawer Boy. He now takes on Canada’s most cherished precepts in a play for the post-Charter generation.
