2011–2012 Season
Why do you go to the theatre?
Is it for pleasure, an opportunity to laugh, to cry, to commiserate, to share an experience with a trusted friend, to escape as the houselights go out? Or is it to sit quietly and listen to a well told story–like a child being read to before bed, for insight into the ordinary or the extraordinary, for adventure, desire, romance, for the vivid and the vital.
What is common to all of the above, I suggest, is the act of imagination. Imagination is, after all, the domain of passion and the muscle of compassion.
Join us for theatre that takes you out of yourself and into your imagination.
