| Tarragon Theatre Annual Benefit Evening Each year Tarragon's Board of Directors host a gala Benefit Evening to raise funds for the theatre. Proceeds from the benefit are used to develop and nurture Canadian playwrights and premiere their work. This one-night-only, sell-out event attracts Toronto's arts patrons and corporate executives as well as Tarragon's dedicated and enthusiastic Subscribers and Members. This year's benefit will take place: Tuesday, March 4, 2008, and will feature an exclusive reception and performance of Democracy by Michael Frayn, tickets are $150.00 each. Democracy: It’s 1969, and Willy Brant, the charismatic left-wing politician, has just been elected chancellor of West Germany.
