Led by theatre professionals who are experienced youth facilitators, these workshops (to be held in the theatre or in your school) can enhance and extend your experience with our shows. This season each show has a recommended workshop for deeper curriculum connections.
We are also able to offer skill-based workshops specific to theatre making, these are especially great options for SHSM students. These courses include:
- Text Analysis
- Character Creation
- Audition Technique
- Scene Study
Have an idea for a workshop not listed? Let us know and we will work to help you find the right artist facilitator to help you accomplish your goals with your students. Just e-mail us at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
COST: Workshops are $15 per student for a group of 20 or more for a two-hour session. Please call for a quote if your group is less than 20.

Completed Workshops from the 2017/18 Season
This year we were excited to offer a series of Improv workshops in conjunction with our performances of Undercover. Ran by Second City performer and Artistic Associate of the Bad Dog Theatre Company Colin Munch and other guest artists students were given the opportunity to explore communication and performance skills in an improvisational setting.
We were also thrilled to have movement instructor Melinda Little join our Workshop team. She taught students about the Grotowski methodology for movement in connection with our production of Girls Like That.
To close our season of workshops playwrights Anna Chatterton and Rhiannon Collett led students in creation exercises in response to Girls Like That to help inspire creativity and strengthen writing skills with youth.
