Sophie Goulet

Sophie is a bilingual Canadian actor who has worked for several seasons at the Stratford Festival of Canada and in most theatres across the country. Productions for Tarragon include Forests, The Real World?, and all its productions of Scorched, for which Sophie originated the part of Janine. Selected film and TV credits include: Anne with an E, Michael: Everyday, Murdoch Mysteries, Remedy, Grey Gardens, Good Witch, and in Quebec: Prank, Ces gars là, Mehdi et Val, Les Barbares de la Malbaie et Série Noire. As a writer, her latest project is a six part television series called L’abîme, inspired by Jean Genet’s The Maids. The series is currently optioned by BlikTV and Amalga Créations Média, in Montréal. Sophie holds degrees from Concordia University and L’université de la Sorbonne Nouvelle. She is a graduate of the Birmingham Conservatory for Classical Studies (Stratford Festival) and the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
