Content, Themes & Age Appropriateness

At Tarragon Theatre we produce new contemporary plays, and many of our productions contain themes and language that may not be appropriate for all ages. We are also conscious that there are some topics or themes that may be particularly distressing to some individuals, regardless of age. If there are certain themes that you know would cause you extreme distress, or if you would like to discuss the age appropriateness of a specific production, our Patron Services team is available to provide more detailed information about our shows’ content at 416-531-1827 or patronservices@tarragontheatre.com.

Tarragon Theatre is committed to extending a high level of customer service to all of its patrons. We are dedicated to demonstrating leadership by working constructively with our patrons, staff, volunteers, and community to meet and exceed the requirements which will identify, prevent, and remove barriers so a fulfilling theatrical experience can be enjoyed by patrons with disabilities in our building.

To this end, we will work hard to ensure that we meet and surpass our patrons’ needs to the best of our ability. If you feel that there is a way that we can better accommodate your needs, please do not hesitate to contact Natasha Parsons (Director of Patron Services) by phone or email for further assistance. We look forward to the opportunity to serving you.

Tarragon’s Mainspace, Extraspace and Workspace theatres are wheelchair accessible, and we have an accessible washroom located on the second floor of the building with elevator access. We offer assistive listening devices for all performances in the Mainspace and the Extraspace.
