Playwright in Residence Rosa Labordé will lead a free, online workshop, “We are ALL Artists in Residence Now”, focused on organic creativity, making plays and the art of life.
What you don’t need:
1. Any previous writing experience.
What you do need:
1. Paper to write on and a pencil.
2. A comfortable chair or cushion to sit on.
3. A cup of tea or a nice drink, even a snack! Whatever makes you feel good.
4. An open mind.
5. Yourself. Your thoughts, experiences, memories, fantasies and dreams.
How Long: The workshop will be about an hour and include writing exercises and an interactive Question and Answer period moderated by Tarragon’s Literary Manager Joanna Falck.

About Rosa Labordé
Rosa’s plays have been produced across Canada as well as at Playwrights Horizons and the Arthur Seelen Theatre in New York City. She has been a finalist for the Governor General’s Literary Award for Drama, the Dora Mavor Moore Award, and received the KM Hunter Artist’s Award for Theatre. Currently she is the Glassco Playwright in Residence with Tarragon Theatre and has commissions for Tarragon Theatre and The Stratford Festival of Canada. She is a graduate of The Oxford School of Drama in England and The Canadian Film Centre’s Primetime Television Writing Program.
